The Winston Chung Engineering building provides research and teaching facilities at UC Riverside’s Bourns College of Engineering. SRG provided design services through design development for this four-story facility, which is adjacent to the existing Bourns Hall and houses the computer science and engineering department and the electrical engineering department. The building program consists of flexible lab modules for teaching and research, individual research faculty offices, a major departmental conference and seminar center, general assignment classrooms, and miscellaneous faculty and student interactive and support areas. The undergraduate teaching and learning functions are located on the lower two floors, and the more private research and discovery activities are on the upper two floors.
