SRG’s Newest Hires

April 14, 2021

As SRG continues to grow, we’re excited to announce our two newest team members! Please join us in welcoming Steve and Roberto.

Steve Seely, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined SRG’s Portland studio as an Associate. Steve has over 12 years of experience with medical space planning, campus planning, programming and design on a broad range of projects for healthcare and university clients. His prior work as a Campus Planner and Owner Representative on high performance research and health sciences projects for Emory University gives him a unique perspective on understanding and achieving client priorities through effective and thoughtful decision-making in early design stages. Project highlights include Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal, Virginia, the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and hospitals in Kiev, Ukraine and Istanbul, Turkey. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and his Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Roberto Diaz has joined SRG’s Portland studio as a Designer. He earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and his Master of Architecture from Clemson University. His student projects have won multiple awards, including Clemson’s 2020 Harlan E. McClure Award for best graduate project. In addition to interning at design and construction firms and volunteering for Community Builds, Roberto brings extensive 3D modeling experience to the team. His favorite thing about architecture is the positive impact that sustainable design can have on our built environment, nature, and our future.
