SRG Announces Promotions
At SRG we are committed to recognizing and honoring the unique talents of our staff. As such, we are excited to announce the promotion of four individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication and innovation in not only their project work, but also within the industry and the greater community. Please join us in congratulating the following SRG team members:
Cassandra El-Soudani, Studio Communications Manager, has been promoted to Associate. Cassandra joined SRG’s Seattle studio in 2016 as Office Manager, where she quickly became an indispensable member of the team. She is known for her organizational skills, quick wit and incredible knowledge of the local restaurant scene, taking office lunches to a new level. In 2018 she was promoted to Studio Communications Manager because of her strong writing and communications skills. She is a member of the firm’s Marketing team, supports project teams and generally brings her positive attitude to whatever needs to be done in order for the firm to be successful. She graduated from Seattle University with a degree in English.
Kirill Ryadchenko, BIM Manager, has been promoted to Associate. Kirill is an industry leader for his innovative approach to new technologies and tools that support SRG’s design process. Whether it’s sophisticated virtual reality models, parametric modeling, renderings or physical models, Kirill helps our clients, and our teams, visualize and envision design concepts so they are accessible and understandable for all. And if the right tool doesn’t exist to meet our needs, he invents it! Kirill has 6 years of industry experience and received his Master of Architecture with Distinction from Southern California Institute of Architecture Sci-Arc.
Todd Andrews, IT Director, has been promoted to Associate. With nearly 30 years of experience, Todd is responsible for all aspects of SRG’s technology infrastructure, including support for the firm’s network, design practice tools and business systems. His commitment and skills have enabled SRG to be an industry leader in the use of technology and computer systems for design. During 2020 Todd was instrumental in helping the firm quickly and successfully transition to an all-virtual technology platform so everyone on staff could work remotely during the pandemic. Since joining SRG’s Portland studio in 2008, Todd has been integral in managing the IT infrastructure for both our Portland and Seattle locations.
Whitney Ranson, Designer, has been promoted to Associate. Since joining SRG in 2016, Whitney’s passion, infectious energy and approach to design as a collaborative journey has made her a key member of successful project teams. Serving a critical role in designing Portland’s new office space and most recently on the newly imagined Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, Whitney always seeks innovation in her work. She consistently makes meaningful connections between architecture and its effect on people and communities, volunteering for organizations like the Architecture Foundation of Oregon through their Architects in Schools program, PSU’s Center for Public Interest and Rebuilding Together. Whitney received her Master of Architecture from Clemson University.
