Featured in the May 2020 edition of the Parking Mobility Magazine, the Glenwood CLT Parking Garage design is catalyzing new urban development, and research for the future of cross laminated timber (CLT). Partnering with University of Oregon’s Energy Studies in Building Laboratories, the unique mesh rain screen facade was tested using full scale mock-ups to ensure protection of the CLT structure from wind-driven rain. Designed for net positive energy and water, the garage is transforming the future of sustainability advancements in parking structures.
