This children’s orthopedic acute care facility is located on a confined hilltop site adjacent to Oregon Health & Science University. SRG completed a planning study recommending a new, 73,000 sf, 3-floor hospital addition constructed over the hospital’s north parking structure. Program elements include a new surgery suite, a new inpatient care unit, a renovated outpatient clinic, two radiographic rooms and expanded research space. When completed in 2011, the hospital will include a total of 220,000 sf of patient care and research space.
